The Inherent Beauty of Siskiyou County & the Sacramento River Canyon
I never check stats to see if anyone actually reads my comments here, but just in case someone does who doesn’t know much about the beauty of this area, here’s a link to a blog post about composing photographs - and many of the photos were taken here in Siskiyou County and on the Upper Sacramento River - part of which runs right through Dunsmuir. Tom, who runs the blog, is quite a talented writer/photographer/fisherman who, like us, fell in love with this area so much so, that he ended up leaving the big city to live here full time. While the winters here are beautiful, spring is busy springing in Dunsmuir and the sunshiny days are now upon us. That’s not to say we won’t get another snowstorm within the next month or two, but even if we do, it’ll probably be short lived.
