Another HOT July is almost behind us. But since it’s hot all across the west and we have a cool river running through town, I’m hard pressed to think of a place I’d rather spend the hot weather.
Today is the annual brew-fest at the ski part. $20 gets you in to taste all the wonderful micro-brews from local and western breweries. Does it get any better? And tomorrow we’ll head to McCloud for their 60th annual Lumberjack Fiesta - it’ll be our first.
Also the Siskiyou Golden Fair is coming up the first part of August. If you’ve never been to a county fair, this one’s a real charmer: Rodeo, Live Music, Smash ‘Em Up Derby and of course the fair food, the midway, the ag & crafts displays. Always a fun time. And all of this a short drive from our little canyon town.
