Summer Already?
We’re barely into the spring season, the official opening day on the upper sac is still two weeks away, yet it was 80 degrees today! This is our second spring season since moving to Dunsmuir, and I can’t imagine ever feeling anything but good about this time of year. The daffodils in our yard have come and gone, replaced by these fantastically colorful varieties of tulips, and now the lilac bush is ready to bloom. The trees are all budding and I actually fired up the lawnmower last weekend for the first time since autumn.
Kathay has gone south to L.A. to visit family for the holiday. Heard from her today, and she’s missing Dunsmuir. Ask me if I’ll ever move back to the city.
I sense some fishing time in my immediate future…like tomorrow.
