Well, the web-site construction has not happened overnight, like in my dreams, but the new domain name is up. Hey, it’s a start!
So here’s the story… We’ve got a charming 2 bedroom (nearly 1400 square foot) home which is available for short term rentals. Still haven’t figured out how to post photos to this site, but we’re happy to email ya’ some. The house was built in 1928 and has a farm-house or bungalow look from the outside and a cozy cabiny look and feel inside. Wood floors, wood walls - yep, wood walls, timber production was a large part of the economy here back then… It also has central heat and air-conditioning, a wood stove fireplace insert, a roomy yard with part of it fenced off for privacy with a deck and firepit. The kitchen features everything you’ll need to cook your own meals, along with a dishwasher. There’s a laundry room as well, so why not plan on staying a week or more?
The house is located in the north part of town, just a short walk from the Upper Sacramento River. The regular fishing season opening day is only a month away now, so you may want to plan your trip now to get in on the opening day action. The trout are waiting…
